1. Unbox Your Ledger® Device

Your Ledger® hardware wallet™ package includes your device, USB cable, recovery sheet, and getting started guide. Verify all components are present and the security seal is intact.

2. Download Ledger Live®

Ledger Live® is our official companion app. Download it from our official website to manage your crypto assets. Never download from third-party sources.

3. Initialize Your Device

Connect your Ledger® device via USB and follow the on-screen instructions to set up a new wallet. Choose a strong PIN code to protect your device.

4. Write Down Your Recovery Phrase

Your 24-word recovery phrase is your ultimate backup. Write it down on the provided recovery sheet and store it securely offline. Never share it or store it digitally.

5. Install Apps and Add Accounts
